Our expertise in the area of Interior Design and fit-out ranges from residential projects, commercial, health and aged care to hospitality. This includes materials specification and colour selections.

Our architects spend a significant amount of time researching and developing designs and delivery techniques; they strive to be thought leaders in their field and do make regular contributions to various Publications, Research, and Industry Summits.

The results are highly functional spaces that suit the nature of their users. Whilst finishes need to be fit for purpose and highly functional, we strive that they are also timeless and aesthetically pleasing.

Road & Maritime Services, Ennis Road, Kirribilli

Office Refurbishment & Fitout

Working closely through the D&C process with our Client, A.W. Edwards, Collard Maxwell Architects were able to deliver a superb contemporary office fit-out without compromising on the original concept by others chosen by RMS.

On the way to completion, we were faced with heritage, waterproofing and structural issues which have been resolved masterly within the project’s program. Modifications to fit-out elements allowed our Client an on time completion. 

 

Forest Grove Apartments, Epping

CMA were called upon Cloverland Property Development to create a tailored interior design concept for their first boutique residential project in Epping. The result –  flowing contemporary & light-filled interiors combined with natural materials.

Artarmon Public School

After the successful completion of Harbord Public School, CM+A are continuing to deliver state of the art educational project with Artarmon Public School being our latest commission.

A much anticipated extension of the school is nearing completion providing 24 future focused teaching spaces and a new library.

The 3 storey homebase building provides enclosure for a landscaped courtyard from Barton Road which creates an atmosphere of security. The new hall, scheduled to be finished in mid-2018, will provide a link between the McMillan & Abbott Road Campuses and create more functional play spaces.

Harbord Public School

To replace most of the schools demountable classrooms, CM+A have been engaged to assist with the construction of a new 3 level, 18 classroom building including library.

The $13.5 million upgrade has delivered a required expansion and provided flexible spaces so students can enjoy learning in different environments. Furniture for 21st century learning
has been utilised throughout the project creating interiors responding to the individual needs of every educator & pupil.

 

Elizabeth Street, Surry Hills

Residential Refurbishment

A dated rental studio property has been transformed from an 80ies decor into a contemporary, fresh & inviting apartment. The design focused on maximising and opening the space and allowing light to flow throughout the apartment. Natural materials and simple colours define uses seamlessly.

Elanora Country Club, Elanora Heights

Various alterations and additions to the 4,000m² Elanora Country Club, established in 1928. The scope of works included Development Application, base building works, coordination and residual design and documentation and delivery of interior design (original design by others), and construction phase design & construct services. The works touched different members’ lounges, kitchen, amenities, the roof, and an outdoor terrace, for a total estimated cost of $10M
