HammondCare, Cardiff
CM+A assisted HammondCare and its builder with delivering a new residential aged care home in Cardiff. The new home addresses an urgent need for dementia-specific care in the Hunter Region. The $30 million aged care project was designed to reflect a domestic environment with a cottage style model, giving residents a sense of familiarity and comfortability. Our scope included the preparation of a S96, some residual design, construction documentation and assistance, review of value management items, and D&C services for the builder.
The Lake Macquarie region has an ageing population with many local people needing the type of care that HammondCare Cardiff will provide. The project includes construction of a 99 bed dementia-specific home, including support for residents with special needs. Accommodation is provided in 5 single level buildings, one multi-level building with separate buildings dedicated to administration, services, chapel and a shop.
Residents are able to maintain a sense of independence by being able to such as own meal preparation and cooking whilst enjoying the recreational outdoor areas, views and community engagement through the various inbuilt activity features and an interconnected walkway.

Benjamin Short Grove Aged Care Facility construction documentation, residual design, roof re-design, and construction-phase delivery assistance of a 60-room aged care facility for homeless or financially & socially disadvantaged residents. The original design and colour scheme, by others, include rooms with ensuites, living and dining areas, along with associated kitchen and laundry support facilities.

Design, design development & construction documentation for aged care facility at Castle Hill for low level up to dementia care patients under the one roof. The building is equipped with wheelchair access to all rooms, dining areas, reading and TV areas, consultation & physiotherapy rooms as well as landscaped and secure gardens.

Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital
Various concept designs for expansion of existing Queen Victoria aged care facility at Picton for low level up to dementia care patients. Expansion concepts included new bedrooms with ensuites, living & dining areas and associated balconies and courtyards.
Bump IVF Clinic, Mosman
Interior fit out of a Private IVF Clinic designed and delivered by CM+A. Services included the conversion to BCA Class 9a and various upgrades as required by the business case. Now Monash IVF Mosman, the clinic offers a full service clinic for those living or working on the northern shore of Sydney, located 8km north east of Sydney,
